One of Britain’s largest furniture repair specialists, Homeserve Furniture Repairs has become an Industry Partner of the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO).
When an organisation joins an Ombudsman Scheme, such as FHIO, they demonstrate their ongoing commitment to raising standards and promoting consumer confidence in the sector in which they operate.
Their status as an Industry Partner Member will see collaboration between the organisation and FHIO, providing insight and training to the Homeserve team in a range of areas.
For more than a quarter of a century, the independent, not-for profit and Chartered Trading Standards Institute approved Ombudsman has offered a range of services to its members and their customers including alternative dispute resolution, training and advice. The Ombudsman helps to provide consumers with additional peace of mind and supports businesses and their customers in finding solutions when disputes occur, without the need for costly and lengthy litigation.
Homeserve is an independently owned company based in the West Midlands providing on-site furniture repairs for retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers in the domestic and commercial market; visiting over 30,000 customers per month.
Kevin Grix, CEO and Chief Ombudsman, Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman said, “In times of uncertainty, knowing that a business subscribes to an independent, government approved Ombudsman is more important than ever and ensures peace-of-mind for businesses and their customers alike.
“Therefore, we’re delighted that Homeserve has chosen FHIO to form this industry partnership.”
James Lane, CEO at Homeserve furniture repairs said: We are always looking to improve and enhance our customer’s journey. This partnership is another step to keep us at the forefront of the industry. I would like to thank all of our clients and the Homeserve furniture repairs team for their hard work and commitment to providing the highest level of customer service.
